What is true

SANDY DENNY,
Whose recordings with Fairport Convention created a
whole new approach to the singing of traditional music,
she died in Atkinson Morley Hospital late on Friday night,
April 21 1978. She was 31. She had fallen downstairs
at her northamptonshire cottage some time before
but though she complained of acute headaches, she
sought no medical attention until she collapsed into
a comma five days before her death and was rushed
into hospital for an emergency operation. She never
regained consciousness. Death is believed to have
been caused by a brain hemorrhage. Her last performance was at
the Royalty Theatre on November 27 last year.
The concert was recorded and before leaving for the
visit to Australia during which Sandy`s accident took
place, her husband Trevor Lucas had already mixed
some of the tracks for possible release as a live album.
The funeral was at Putney on April 27.
